Line Boring and Bore Welding
When machines have continued in service following a bearing failure, the result can be a damaged bearing housing. In some cases, the bearing housing is part of the main structural assembly, consequently replacement is very expensive and the downtime is lengthy.

Once the repairs are complete, all the customer has to do is re-fit the bucket, boom or stick.

We can: -
• Pre-machine to remove badly    damaged material providing a    sound based upon which to    work.
• Replace damaged metal by
   in-line welding to oversize    dimensions.
• Re bore to final dimension. And    Re-fit new bearings to give the    machine a new life, this can be    done on bore sizes from 40mm    to 180mm.
